Position Title: Corporate Corporate Affairs Clerical Assitant 

 

Hourly Compensation: TBD

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assist the Corporate Affairs Senior Coordinator, performing general office duties (typing, filing, faxing, photocopying, etc.). Receive and direct all visitor and telephone inquiries ensuring customer service is conducted in a courteous and professional manner.
• Provide exceptional service to the campus community regarding Instructionally Related Activity (IRA) programs assisting with and responding to questions regarding IRA approval, reimbursement, travel and account balances.
• Provide support to the Corporate Affairs Senior Coordinator with Board of Directors tasks, such as drafting and proofreading minutes, preparing board meeting documentation, posting agendas, scheduling speakers, making travel arrangements for Board members, etc.
• Provide support to Student Government Advisors in drafting and posting agendas and meeting minutes for the Committees of the Board of Directors.
• Assist with maintaining tracking systems for all Board Actions.
• Assist with maintaining tracking systems for all IRA transactions and requests.
• Review all requests for payment, and prepare documentation for Coordinator approval.
• Work with internal and campus partners to schedule meetings.
• Must maintain strict adherence to safety procedures and attend all safety meetings as scheduled.
• Other duties and special projects as assigned.


Education, Work Experience Requirements and Abilities:

Education:
Must be a currently enrolled student at California State University, Fullerton preferably with a major in Business Administration or related field

Experience:
Customer service experience – preferable
Prior office experience – preferable
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) required

Knowledge and Abilities:
• Ability to type 35-40 wpm accurately.
• Must be detailed oriented.
• Have knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be punctual, reliable, and maintain good attendance.
• Must be able to work independently and follow directions with little supervision.
• Must be able to work well with faculty, staff, students and the general public.
• Must be able to work with people from diverse backgrounds and interests.

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
• Frequently required to sit, talk, listen and walk; manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination; corrected hearing and vision to normal range; clear verbal communication.
